"Check everybody. Everybody is a suspect."
Here's a link to the PBS Frontline report on the escalation of domestic surveillance and warrantless-wiretap programs inside the US since 9/11. Pretty scary stuff:

You can watch the entire segment for full-on Illuminati-Orwellian paranoid psychosis. Total Information Awareness = Fun with the Bushies! "Eye in The Sky" is my favorite jam, what's yours?

Oh, and bonus! My ISP is AT&T. Yay! Can you say, "I Heart Data Miners"?

Way to write yourself a one way ticket to Gitmo, Dana.
Don't forget, America owns the internet, and in turn has the right to police it.

I read somewhere (forget where, it's worth looking up yourself if you're interested enough) that American intel agencies accounted for about half of the world's hard drive purchases. They are not watching you.
But then again, don't believe everything you read.
The "truth" is idiosyncratic to the individual and everyone of us has our own agendas.

P.s. I should have probably used the word subjective in place of idiosyncratic.
